GFFF is an organization governed by a holistic approach and Gandhian values with a focus on inclusive and sustainable development for all working directly and indirectly in the fashion value chain from farm to fashion. It encompasses cradle to cradle based on the principles of Panchamahabhuta (the five elements). The organization is involved in research, development, advocacy, awareness generation, education, project development and project implementation for capacity building and improving quality of life of all. This is the only organization that is working on towards complete integration of the eco-friendly fashion value chain in order to ensure social, economic, environmental and distributive justice to all the stakeholders. Inspired by the concept and model of “Farm to Fashion” propounded by Prof. Dr. Binaya Bhusan Jena, of NIFT, Bhubaneswar the GFFF believes sustainability and inclusivity should go hand in hand. GFFF has been engaged in transforming the lives of people involved in the entire spectrum of operation in the fashion value chain through innovative, simple, local and traditional knowledge and wisdom.
The foundation of GFFF believes in the model of ‘Farm to Fashion’ and believes that in order to have a sustainable fashion business, it must be – Financially Viable, Environmentally Sustainable, Economically Equitable and Socially Justifiable.

Mission
GFFF’s mission is to reduce the environmental impact of fashion industry by engaging in research, development, education, training and orientation of people and organization across the value chain. The focus is also to achieve inclusivity in terms of social and economic justice for all the stakeholders while ensuring eco-friendly behavior through use of local resources.
